Description
International standard recurve bow for beginners.
Tool-free takedown design makes it easier to be shipped or carried for outdoor sports or hunting.
Installation holes preprocessed to be used with arrow rest, sight, stabilizer, and button.
Note
The bow is shipped with riser/limbs/string taken down. You need to assemble them by yourself after you receive the parcel.
We highly recommend using a Bowstringer to attach the string, especially for those bows with the higher draw weight.
We also provide videos teaching you how to finish the assembly.
When you play around with our bows, please follow every rule you have learned of archery:
- Check bow and accessories carefully before shooting.
- Find a safe place before shooting, don’t aim anything except the arrow target.
And the most important: - NEVER DRY FIRE

Excellent bow, a lot of fun to shoot. The only thing I might have liked to see change would be to include a set of instructions for putting the bow together. There was a little trial and error there and consider including a bow stringer. I’d pay a little more to have one bundled with the bow.

The picture here is not what the windrunner bow looks like now. This is a pic of the earlier model of this bow. The riser on my windrunner is an awesome dark wood to lighter laminations, beautiful! The best part is that it fits into my hand really well, just feels good! Thanks Mandarin!

It was bought for a 16 year old boy and it was an absolute hit (pardon the pun)!

I am a very happy camper. This bow is aesthetically beautiful and elegant and shoots very well. It’s very nice to find a company that stays behind their product as their Customer service excels. Very happy with this bow and with the people behind this product.
Thank you very much

The bow looks nice and shoots great.. Until the string snapped. It snapped while drawing and was a terrifying experience.
I will update the review after I get in contact with Mandarin Duck.

This is an excellent recurve bow, and the material is great.

And it’s lovely. The takedown is nice, the riser is maybe a little plain but still pretty, the limbs are clearly marked upper and lower. The riser fits astoundingly well in my hand and the 32# draw is a little on the heavier side for me as a beginner.
The only real downside I have is the supplied string is not any kind I have seen before with a loop that will slip over a limb and use a stringer, this had both loops just big enough to slip into their spots and no more. Stringing this bow became a unique nightmare for a while until the planets aligned and the string went on.
Mine did not have any issues with the varnish or anything of that nature. However, without a rest included I got the rest and plunger sold here. Big mistake-it doesn’t work with the windrunner. Still, right now I can get the arrows I made to fly straighter than I can shoot off the riser. A basic sight like the SAFE Simplex works quite nicely on this bow too. Again, with the thicker riser I suspect other options may be somewhat limited.
That all said, for the price it’s a lovely bow.
