Note
The bow is shipped with riser/limbs/string taken down. Please assemble them by yourself after you receive the parcel.
We highly recommend using a Bowstringer to attach the string, especially for those bows with the higher draw weight.
We also provide a video teaching you how to finish the assembly.
When you play around with our bows, please follow every rule you have learned of archery:
- Check bow and accessories carefully before shooting.
- Find a safe place before shooting, don’t aim anything except the arrow target.
And the most important: - NEVER DRY FIRE

It bought the 35 lb bow for backyard target practice. The riser is a bit heavy but the bow is very accurate. Shooting this bow is fun.

First off, I have to say how impressed I am with Mandarin Duck’s customer service. There was an issue with the shipping initially, no fault of Mandarin Duck, but they did everything they could to remedy the situation immediately. Not too long after the shipping situation I received my 40lb Phantom bow. When I ordered the bow, I knew the it would be noticeably shorter than the size recommended for my height and draw length. However, based on reviews, and an ideal price, I figured I would take a chance on it. (I’m 6ft tall, with a 28″+ draw.) I honestly love the bow, and don’t find it awkward, or noisy in the least. It’s very fun to shoot, powerful, and pretty accurate. It’s an all around great little bow, at an excellent price, and I highly recommend it. Thank you Mandarin Duck.

I received my 35# Phantom from China to the U.K 13 days after order directly from Mandarin Duck. Trusting reviews from Nusensei, I figured I could live with any of the shortcomings he mentioned.
I set mine up the evening I received it and went off to my club meeting to have my first shoot with it.
I normally shoot target recurve, so this being set up as a barebow and shooting instinctively I didn’t expect to be bang-on accurate.
What I can tell you is that once I had settled into it, my new Phantom proved to be fast and consistent.
It does stack. I draw 29″ and felt it over my longer target recurve. It isn’t bad at all, just noticeable and not a strain.
Short bows can nock pinch, I swapped from glove to tab and solved that.
It is a little noisy, rings out a bit after a shot. I’ll try some Neet Brush-Off silencers next time I use it.
As a field bow this is excellent value, with good build quality. My overall impression is how much fun it is to shoot. I’m excited about using it on a 3D field.

Arrivato oggi dopo soli 10 giorni in Italia, velocissimi!

the Phantom 56″ is an accurate and fun bow to shoot. for beeing so small it feels very forcefull and well built for hunting and target-practice. it packs a lot of punch and I recommend that you use some pretty dense targets when using this bow.
I got the inspiration to buy this bow from survival lilly on youtube, and I have not been sorry. ive been using it and getting used to it for about 2 weeks now and its serious fun to shoot with. a slight downside is that it is a fairly loud bow, so i would recommend the silencer kit with the limbpads and stringballs, once you got that on however, it is as quiet as a whisper.
I got my bow with a sight and a whisker-biscuit that fits well on this bow since it has predrilled holes for such addons. they work like a charm, and with a quiver on the riser as well, its all set for hunting.
Another thing i would like to add is that the bow seems to have a slightly shorter drawlenght than the description says, and once youre over that it stacks up quite a bit.
The stores customer service is very fast to respond and they are extremly helpful.
The bow arrived well before the set date and it was well packaged.
In summary: its a fun bow, suitable for both hunting and shooting just for fun. i cant do anything but recommend Mandarin Duck and the Phantom takedown recurve bow.

I bought the Phantom 56” 50 lb recurve bow as my first bow. I was going to order it through Amazon but found out that Mandarin Duck offers free shipping and their prices are also lower. The only downside is that it is shipping directly from China and has a 10 to 25-day shipping time. Mine arrived in 14. For the price, $80, it is awesome. It is great for just shooting a ton of arrows and having fun. I do not intend to compete or hunt with it, just have fun.
It has a few issues. One of the bolts for the limbs was improperly formed. The threads are not fully shaped and was installed in the riser when I received it. Replacing the bolt will not work as the aluminum of the riser is now shaped to those threads. This should not be an issue as long as I keep the two bolts separate and always put them in the same hole. The video on YouTube, how to silence a recurve bow, showing this bow, does not demonstrate just how loud it is. Shooting at an indoor range, the range master came over and asked me if the limbs were tight. I had already tightened them a couple of times to make sure, because it is so loud. There are gaps at the ends of the riser, along with hollows underneath the limbs in the riser, making the vibrations very loud. The advertised length is 56”. Measuring from the string nocking points on the limbs read just under 54”. The string is 52”.
I wanted to get a replacement string but could not find a link to order one from Mandarin Duck. I emailed them through their contact page and am in the process of ordering one. The string that came with the bow has upper, lower, and center servings, and feels well waxed.
As long as time is not an issue, order through Mandarin Duck’s website. They have a lot of great looking bows. I wanted a recurve of decently high draw weight and as close to a draw length of 30” as I could get. If I were to get another, I would probably get one of the taller recurves and slightly less draw weight for sustained shooting, but I love my Phantom.
